Joint Webinar on Feedstock Mobilisation: Fuels-C & Flexby

Our joint webinar “Feedstock Mobilisation: Insights from Fuels-C & Flexby”, organised together with our sister project Flexby, took place on 04 November 2025.

Mobilising sustainable feedstocks remains one of the greatest challenges in advancing biofuel technologies. This session explored how Fuels-C is developing bio- and electro-conversion pathways using biogenic residues, wastewater and CO₂, alongside Flexby’s work on thermal conversion of industrial waste and microalgae.

Together, we showcased how these complementary approaches can diversify and secure renewable resources for a more resilient and circular energy future.

A special thank you to our speakers Eduard Borràs (Leitat), Nuria Ferrera Lorenzo (IDENER), Gracia Silvestre (FACSA), Tomas Ramírez Reina (Universidad de Sevilla) and Marion Guillevic (ENERGO)!
