Fuels-C showcased bioelectrochemical research at EU-ISMET 2026

Fuels-C took part in the EU-ISMET 2026 conference, represented by project partners Leitat and the Universitat de Girona.

During the event, the consortium presented two posters and delivered two oral presentations focused on bioelectrochemical CO₂ recycling into ethanol and soft sensor development for ethanol forecasting in microbial electrosynthesis.

These contributions highlighted ongoing work within Fuels-C to advance bioelectrochemical pathways for sustainable fuel production, supporting the development of innovative solutions for a low-carbon energy future.

The conference also provided an important opportunity to share results, exchange knowledge with the wider scientific community, and strengthen links with experts working in the field of microbial electrochemistry and technology.
